About the Toolkit

I started researching and gathering information from coaches around the age of 12 to add things like hill sprints into my routine. I am a soccer player, and I wanted to improve my sprint speed and build endurance. Soon I needed to understand resistance training, nutrition, mental preparation, and a lot more. Over the years, I did more and more research and had so many workouts on paper and in different folders. I’d also started to need my own training logs that I could use over and over with my own routines and my folders kept growing with information that would help me improve different parts of my game. Eventually, I started putting all my research, workouts, and training logs into three-ring binders so I could access the information faster and more easily whenever I needed it.

When I was a senior in high school, I came up with this idea to make an online athlete’s toolkit for my graduation project. I could take all the information and workouts that I have used for many years and make them into a web site that makes everything organized and really easy for me to access and can also be used by other athletes. I spent time adding information to finish off some of the things that have been important in my routine, and worked on fine tuning some of the workouts I’ve been using for years to supplement my soccer training.

I am about to graduate and start my college playing career. I plan to add to this site over time as I make new workouts and learn more about training that will help me be a better player and athlete.
